  10. Billie Jean grew up in California. When she 
  11. was a kid, she played many sports, 
  12. including baseball. She discovered tennis
  13. when she was 11. In 1961, when she was 
  14. 17, she teamed with Karen Hantze, and the
  15. two became the youngest team to win the 
  16. doubles title at Wimbledon. Billie Jean went
  17. on to become one of only eight women to
  18. win at least one singles title at each of
  19. the four Grand Slams.
